I managed to take this painting out of Ukraine in 2022 after the invasion began. Art work is part of the "Age of Melancholy" series. This series explored the forces of increasing individualism coupled with the loss of spiritual resources, resulting in an existential vacuum that has become a large-scale phenomenon. Interwoven lines create a kinetic effect of uncertainty and immersion in the search for meaning and self-identity among a multitude of immeasurable and elusive horizons.

Established in 2001, the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, hosts a public gallery that showcases the work of Nebraska and regional artists, and is home to the Kimmel Permanent Collection.
