KHN Center for the Arts is a fantastic place for reflection, was very important for me after moving from Ukraine, to comprehend the experience of the war and document it. The program provided an opportunity to meet artists, writers, composers and learn more about their creative methods. All this contributed to productive work and finding new ways of artistic expression. It was a very rewarding experience at the right time.

The result of my reflections was artwork triptych "Altar of Hope" based on actual news footage, images of shelling of Ukrainian cities combined with a universal metaphysical landscape of unity and transcendence.
